Kevin's background is in sales and marketing as a Sales Manager and Business Development Manager in the Business Information Industry, both here and in S.E. Asia.

Kevin's responsibilities included the facilitation of focus groups within sales and marketing teams to identify and address issues affecting company productivity.

His role also required responsibility for the interviewing, recruiting and training of new staff and preparing them for cultural difference in the Asian environment.

In the facilitation and development arena, Kevin’s main interest lies in breaking down barriers to effective communication within organisations. In the Upward Feedback® context Kevin’s skills lie in helping remove entrenched communication structures that not only hinder growth and development of the people in organisations, but at the same time deprive the organisation of valuable talent and experience. He is a strong proponent of the Learning Organisation as the vehicle for personal, as much as organisational growth.

With both a sales and marketing background Kevin understands the importance of achieving short term business goals whilst maintaining a strategic perspective.

In deciding to offer his expertise as a facilitator and a training consultant, Kevin sought accreditation in a number of key areas, in particular:

  • Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

  • Integrity Selling (Morgan & Banks)

  • Conflict Resolution

  • Group Facilitation Skills

  • Change Consulting Training (CCT)

He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Management and the St James Ethics Centre.

Initially, Kevin saw Leaderskill's Upward Feedback as another useful tool for consulting and training. However, during the accreditation workshop he discovered that Upward Feedback was a process with great application to the whole area of organisational development and culture change. It also provided him with a methodology that he has been able to apply to every area of facilitation. At the same time he became aware of his shared interests and values with Leaderskill Group, resulting in his accepting Leaderskill’s invitation to become a Senior Consultant with the Group.

Since then he has been involved with clients in 360Facilitated®/Upward Feedback®, Team Development and Strategic Planning workshops, and in coaching managers. Clients are in both public and private sectors.
